Best of luck to him then. :good!: He'll have a great education to fall back on when his playing days are over, and he'll still get to play lacrosse.

good for him. I knew a girl that passed on minor D1 schools to attend Harvard and gave up basketball entirely. Can't go wrong with an Ivy League degree though.

with a weighted 4.4 GPA, i'm guessing he's getting an academic scholarship. Also as business owner are you going to hire a guy with accolades from Princeton or accolades from Michigan if they are equal in all other things.

Good to see there are athletes that still care about their education out of high school. More power to the guy.

Ok, the way I was reading it he was going to have to pay for his education if he went to Princeton.

no, the article even points that out. But like i say with a weighted 4.4, i'm guessing he's good.

Princeton does not offer athletic scholarships. But the article itself points out that need-based financial aid can often add up to the equivalent of a full scholarship.

If he has visited Princeton, really likes the school, and wants to go there, I say more power to him.

the article also eludes to the fact that his family is evidently quite wealthy. However, I still maintain he gets a hefty academic scholarship.

No, money doesn't seem to be an object for him.

I was simply repeating from the article that the school does offer considerable financial assistance to those who actually do need it.

I wish him the best.

if he's really princeton bright, he probably understands that fullbacks can get there with or without the big school brand.
