Nick battled hard with so many errors and defensive lapses behind him (mostly, he had an error as well). Give the team credit for hanging around and getting the big hit and keeping Vandy from doing so. This was the first time I got to see them in person, has the defense been this shaky all year? This probably should have been a complete game by Hernandez with many less pitches than he had to throw.

The second home run by Hawn was one of the longest I have ever seen. It was to the gap between 400 and 375 mark. He hit it over a walkway that was about 10-15 feet behind the fence and about 5 feet higher.

Go Vols! A sweep would help (not cure) the thought of this season.
