Hulu has announced a live tv streaming service for next year. I also read that YouTube plans a live subscription streaming package in the near future. The days of the cable and satellite boxes are numbered. The question is how much more will we be charged for high speed internet with amount of data that streaming uses?

Hulu to sell Internet TV package with live programming - Yahoo Finance

Yep. Comcast has been steadily rolling out 300 GB limits to all areas. Of course you can pay an extra $35/month for unlimited data almost negates the savings from dropping cable subscription.

HD video eats up data. During football season I was using nearly a TB each month.

One thing is certain... Apple wanted to be at the front of this revolution but it looks like they are about to get left behind.
