Since the 247 recruiting class inception (2010 is the first year they have class rankings in full), Tennessee has only achieved an average composite rating of >.90 2x once under Pruitt (the Darnell and wanya class) and last year under Heup.

This year, our average would already be tied with our highest ever. But, unlike those previous >.90 years, we aren't top heavy currently we have a 2:1 ratio of 4 star guys to 3 star guys. Even if we do miss on a few big guys, this will likely be one of, if not the, best class Tennessee has had since rankings started.

This class right now has a phenomenal blue chip ratio too.
This is all about NIL, relationships dont mean squaaaaaaahhhaaaa. Gotcha.

This staff does a much better job of eval than previous. Sometimes its a bit head scratching on OL. I think if we really need to start targeting some more guys, its there.

Cant always rely on the portal.

It’s hard to believe that 2015 class that finished 4th overall wasn’t >.90, but you’re right.

Yup. The average recruit ranking is always more important than the actual team rankings imo. I’ve always firmly believe we needed a couple years of >.90 to compete. We didn’t. But we will need classes >.92 to most likely win a natty. We are moving in the right direction.

Amy Hamilton, my old high school English teacher would have corrected your last sentence to read: "...this will likely be one of the best classes Tennessee has had since rankings started, if not the best."
