Re-watching the games this season and focusing on the QB and WRs/TE, I couldn't help draw analogies to what the "old ball coach" did to CFB and more specifically to the SEC during his tenure as UF's head coach. It seems that a WR in his system was always open (at least against UT anyway). I know some will flame me for mentioning him on this forum, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Heupel's "system" seems to be giving DCs across the league some real issues - much like Spurrier's did. Thoughts?

Hard to not see the similarities. However, as dominant as FL was they only had one national title to show for it. If they had the playoff system that we have today they may have had more.
Regardless, they won a ton of ballgames and SEC titles.

The fun and gun....yeah....and he would have done the same with 15 seconds left instead of playing for overtime.
