By the way, the reason this should be left here is because UT is in competition with the likes of Florida and USC for top class honors. Plus, with Alabama issues of the past, it is relevant to UT fans to see that another school is up to shenanigans. So don't move it!!

Pete Carroll and company will be busier than a cat covering up sh@# trying to turn this around. The truth of the matter is the NCAA will turn their heads and yawn while the allegations are "explained"

I don't know about that. After the Reggie Bush thing, it would seem to me that they need to self-report this if there is anything to it. By itself, its probably not a major infraction. Or, if it is, its probably not going to get them much more than loss of a couple of scholarships. Don't see this as huge in that sense. Nonetheless, it suggests a lack of institutional control (note the buzz words) over the recrtuiting process.

USC should get hammered...on the Reggie Bush/family $280,000 scandal alone...but they won't.

And why isn't the national media (ESPN) all over Les Miles' "f*** Alabama" comment...at a public podium, in front of children...no less. Colon Cowturd rode Saban for 2 weeks on his "off the record" comment.

Reggie Bush. now this. how many more didnt screw up a simple interview and tattle on themselves? Something needs to be looked at. even if it is just a couple of schollies, at least it puts them more on the ncaa's radar, if it is looked into:twocents:

Well, I love how the guy is now claimed to have "misspoke" in what apparently was a long answer or at least fairly detailed description of what went on in this conversation.
I would be surprised if they can't track phone records.

Well, if I read it correctly, the phone call definitely happened. Its a question of who was in what room listening in on speaker. So, people's memories on who was in the room during what part of the conversation are likely to get a little muddy.

They have trouble in CA with homicides and rape.I don't see them figuring this one out either.I mean, everyone knows the probability of this being true is 80/90%, it's just that certain people(groups) in todays society live by a separate set of laws, CA being chief.

Maybe it's time for Pete to head back to the NFL. Might not have much of a choice if this proves to be true.
