They didn't give Tennessee any praise. Lou Holtz said they are going to come back and beat us. They talked about Jadevon Clowney and how he dominated (which he didn't). ESPN hates Tennessee and it just showed.
They are number 11, we are unranked and up 10 at half. The last TD drive we crammed it down their throat. They have had ONE offensive play. I am going to stick with we are handing it to them. Go Vols.
I have learned to just watch the game. The talking heads don't matter. They can manipulate what people hear and drive certain stories. Unfortunately most people go along with it. Just don't care.
It was pathetic the way ESPN only talked about Clowney's play, which was good, but, in case they didn't notice, the Vols have played very well the first half. Give credit where credit is due ESPN.
You can expect that from Holtz. Any school where he's ever coached gets favoritism from him. I believe he said similar stuff about NCSU last year. He predicts ND to win every game they play.
Clowney may very well be the first pick in the NFL draft this spring. Have you ever paid attention to how heavily weighted ESPN's coverage is to the NFL? It shouldn't come as a huge surprise he's the top story to them.
