There are several parents/relatives that post here. Some like Fostermom and Holbert1 are obvious.

Yes, I'm the real thing....though I'm not sure how you'd be convinced.

Nothin' is new on the hill....people are just finishing school....preparing for summer workouts.
Pretty quiet. :shades:

I can vouch for her being the genuine article, since I post with her on another Vol board which will remain unnamed.

I can also attest that if you get out of line she'll be the first to place you back on the straight and narrow.

Good to see you over this way Mom.

Thanks fostermom. We look forward to your "words of wisdom" whenever you do find the time.My big sis has lived in Claremont for 30 years.I enjoy visiting her. I stayed in downtown San Diego years ago.Downtown is so nice and clean there.Keep in touch with the board and be sure to drop off any new insider info! :biggrin2:

Fostermom, I don't know why the 2 star rating is on here, you know how it is, there's one in every crowd. :dunno:

Thanks...but actually, I don't live in San Diego. I live in Albuquerque. But I do agree that San Diego is a beautiful place. We've all vowed to end up there....providing I can afford it!

As far as words of wisdom, I'm not any wiser than the next...probably just a little older!

As for inside....I can't share everything, but I'll tell what I can. Right now regarding Arian, he is further along in his rehab than anyone thought he'd be. His dad was in Knoxville last weekend and he said he was looking good and stronger than he expected. He's running 2 1/2 to 3 miles daily and lifting and rehabbing. He'll start working on speed this summer. He should be 100% by late July.

Good to hear! I hate it when one of our guys goes down while working hard. I hope he's FEELING 100% around then too. A belated welcome to the VN from me... I seem to have missed your first appearance...

2 1/2-3 miles a day. WOW. I run a little less than 2 every other day.

Can't wait to see him back on the field.

Arian was the lone bright spot last year. I would like to see another 3-some like we had when Little Man, Charlie Garner and Aaron Hayden were here.

2 1/2 to 3 miles a day, maybe that is my problem, I need to have an injury and get into rehab.

Glad to hear Arian is doing well, looking forward to a great season for him in 2006-7 and a Heisman run after that!

cant wait to have him back this year. With a full season to work with he could rack up some big numbers.

I haven't welcomed you to the site yet so allow me to. Welcome, from a Vols fan in Oregon

And I have to say that if your son plays to the capability we all think he has, you may have that house in San Diego in a few years.

Well, as it would be, there's a story to the 74 thingy. I read that other board for several years before posting. When I first signed up over there, it was simply OldVol, but betwixt registering and eventually posting, I slept several times and forgot the password to the OldVol handle.

So, I added my year of graduation, thus the 74.

Another casualty of oldtimers desease.

Have you ever participated in the "Wave" fostermom?Just wondering. :cross:

Of course I've participated in the wave!! My very first game at Neyland was eye popping. Once the wave started, it sounded like a hurricane and I could feel the stadium shaking. It was amazing. I get a little (ok, a lot) carried away at games. I'm embarrassing to sit by. :yahoo:
