While exceptionally rare, there are occasions when I'm wrong. By the way, wasn't that the regular season champion of the vaunted MVC they slapped silly tonight? Also, wasn't that poor, pipped off, should have been in the tournament Missouri State getting murdered by the 10th place team in the Big East night before last?

IDK, I don't pay attention to the NIT. A team's mindset is a whole lot different if they get snubbed and go from the NCAAT to the NIT. WSU was slapped around pretty good, but by a team that you said has no business in the tourney.

I think I've admitted that was erroneous. As an aside, how angry does Hofstra have to be right now? They beat GM twice in a week at the end of the season.

That is true. I thought Hofstra was a big snub, but at least GM has made the most of their gift.
As I conceded in the last mid-major debate, if the committee had simply excluded Utah State and Air Force and replaced them with Cincinnati and Hofstra, everything would have been fine.

HV, while I will admit I know and like Andy Kennedy, didn't it seem strange that White and Muhammed were ruled ineligible on the day it became obvious they were going to hire Mick Cronin and Andy was going to Ole Miss. Also, they cut Kennedy's postgame radio show off in the arena, then wouldn't let him use the house mike to thank the fans. Pearl must be some kind of saint to have managed to work for Nancy Zimpher at UWM without blowing a gasket.

Nah. I'm sure it was just a coincidence.....
Exactly. I'm sure they would have been ineligible if the Bearcats were in the NCAAs. The UC administration makes the Bush Administration look competent.
