Sorry to hear about Tyler Smith today. While I believe the actions of the UT administration are justified, I hate seeing it. From a personal standpoint for Tyler and from an SEC standpoint. Good luck in the future.

Thanks. Can we borrow DeMarcus Cousins Sunday at 4:30 pm? How about John Wall?

No no......I use this screen name on all the sites I post on. That's funny, because I didn't even realize this until you said something.

I hate it for UT. I really hate it for Tyler. I really hope he gets his life on track. And it sucks for the SEC. But, as long as TN gets everyone else back, I don't think it will hurt UT all that much in conference. Maybe a little in the tourney, but I think UT is good for SEC play.

As i have been blasted on here before for saying this team is overrated I think this may make the overrall team better. they will be challenged again, i feel alot of times when you have a superior player everybody else just likes to satnd around and watch. Time for the BallerVols to go to WORK!! As for the other 3 I would like to see at least suspended 5 games each. Weed is a totally different issue from guns. Not condoning but saying its just different.

As much as I hate to say it, this is the best thing for this team... Tyler has been in decline since Lofton and Smith left and this year he has continued that streak. I hate it for him but I think the team will be better off.

:) Bud, if I could, I would. I think UT is going to be tough for Kansas though. Your team has a lot to play for now, and maybe more so than ever. Kansas better be careful, because they are walking into a situation where UT is going to be wanting this badly.

Go Vols, for a day at least:)

Yeah I know how you feel. I would like to see UK get beat though, just to see how the coach and players react.

Being a Villanova fan I dont get to see Tennessee play all the time, but I alwasy found Tyler overrated and so helter skelter. If you can get solid PG play which seems to always be an issue, and keep Chisms behind under the basket instead of outside the 3, i think you guys will still be able to compete. You guys are just going to have to put much more emphasis on half court offense and defense

Whether Tyler was overrated IMO is not the issue. There was some sort of a perception thing with him on the floor. Coaches had to be aware of him. With him gone, attention will switch. I do think this will bring your team closer than before, thus making it possible to make the team stronger.

I also think labeling him "thug" is uncalled for. I bet anything that no one regrets this more than Tyler does. I really hope he gets his life back together. And I know most of the UK fan base supports UT and Tyler, in getting the programs perception and His life back on track. Tennessee being strong, especially in football is great for the SEC in the same way UK basketball being strong is great for the conference. All this "thug" and "cheater" stuff is uncalled for and not rational. All teams have players that make mistakes. Al school have cheated. All programs have their moments. It does not take away from the full body of work so many good people have worked hard to achieve for the program.
