Hope all is well with everyone. Its almost that glorious time of year again. The smell of fresh mowed grass and chalk on the dirt. The sounds is the pop of a ball into the mitt and the ping of a sharply hit line drive. The craving for dongs, diggers, round trippers, whatever you call them. It is upon us. One question only remains to be answered: How far behind is @MAD already in the greatest pick'em contest in the world. I'm talking about @OldTimer s great invention with all the twist and turns and doubles and such.
Just poking a little at Mad. He is a great American and a Vol.

I was thinking about retiring since I finished just out of last place in 2023.
Professor…Birthday points wouldn’t have made a difference I don’t think.

This ain't Global Thermonuclear War now!
I could wager that the sun would come up tomorrow and the world would end tonight. Making bets/picks is definitely something I should steer clear of. Came in late to the contest last season and still managed to finish dead last behind both Mad and Preacher. Lesson relearned.....I'm back in my lane now.

Well, hopefully with preacher going all in all the time, he is the ultimate winner at the end of the year. @MAD , however, will be in the negatives by week 2 even with the preseason head start.

John Fogerty's rendition of "Centerfield" is almost ready to be played at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
