Just going back to when I was in HS to today here some of my favorites that I don't think you can go wrong with! Yes its dated!
Enter Sandman - Metallica
Thunderstruck - AC/DC
Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple
My Hero - Foo Fighters
What ever you play finish it with The Boys of Fall - Kenny Chesney
If your mascot is a Tiger, Panther, Lion etc.. then Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N Roses
All very common songs on our workout lists back then (and in college, and even at some clubhouses for minor league/professional sports I've seen)
Others I'd definitely include:
Trapt - Headstrong
Click, Click, Boom - Saliva (great for highlight films also)
Ladies and Gentlemen - Saliva (Arguably the best entrance song if your team is really good or it's going to be a great game in general)
Wish I May or Blow Me Away - Breaking Benjamin (Especially the latter)
Lose Yourself and Till I Collapse - Eminem (edited versions of both do not swear and both are ranked way up there for this generation's GOAT work out/never give up/Underdog songs either way)
Not sure about everyone else but I know one of the songs we listened to that pumped us up big time at home games (Football or Basketball) either in the locker room or warming up was
Young Jeezy ft Kanye West- I Put on for My City
However, that song needs to either be something only the players listen to in the lockerroom or heavily edited.
Most of us got together and made our workout music CDs though, so before games the coaches let us do whatever Pre game stuff we needed so long as we didn't kill anyone and we played hard. Your situation may not fit that.
