I'd say the majority sentiment is that he's improved the morale of the team and the program from where it was when he got here. The fans know that a new coach tends to have that effect and we've all been through this several times over the past few years. So most of us aren't drawing too many conclusions.
He seems likeable -- a guy who you'd like to have a beer with. To me he seems more genuine and comfortable in the job than his 3 predecessors were at the same point. He's more open with the media and the fans than Pruitt was.
He still has to weather the storm of the transition, especially the impact of the roster changes. Fortunately for him, he won't have to do much to exceed expectations.
