Political Radar: Falling Flags

ABC News' Eloise Harper and Rick Klein Report: It's been a rough stretch for Hillary Clinton -- a tough debate performance, a lost voice, and the revelation that the Clinton campaign had been coaching questionersat events.

Then, on Sunday, everything started falling down around her.

After a very Presidential-esque news conference - Clinton turned around to leave the reporters and their peppering questions. A staffer swooped open a curtain, and chaos ensued. Four large American flags came crashing in front of Senator Clinton as she headed for the door. In a controlled panic, the staffers and the Senator attempted to catch the flags before they fell to the ground.

Watch the i-CAUGHT VIDEO HERE.

Thoughts?

At least they tried to keep the flags from hitting the ground. I wonder if they gave them a proper ceremony afterwards?

If it is one thing this bunch of hippies know how to do, it is burning flags... :birgits_giggle:

This too...

CNN's Wolf Blitzer has been warned not to focus Thursday's Dem debate on Hillary. 'This campaign is about issues, not on who we can bring down and destroy,' top Clinton insider explains. 'Blitzer should not go down to the levels of character attack and pull 'a Russert.'' Blitzer is set to moderate debate from Vegas, with questions also being posed by Suzanne Malveaux

And.....

The college student who was told what question to ask at one of New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign events says "voters have the right to know what happened" and she wasn't the only one who was planted.

In an exclusive on-camera interview with CNN, Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, a 19-year-old sophomore at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, said that giving anyone specific questions to ask is "dishonest," and the whole incident has given her a negative outlook on politics.

Gallo-Chasanoff, whose story was first reported in the campus newspaper, said what happened was really pretty simple: She says a senior Clinton staffer asked if she'd like to ask the senator a question after an energy speech the Democratic presidential hopeful gave in Newton, Iowa, on November 6.

"I sort of thought about it, and I said 'Yeah, can I ask how her energy plan compares to the other candidates' energy plans?'" Gallo-Chasanoff said Monday night.

I think it's embarrassing for the Clinton campaign. I also think it's not the first or last time it will happen.

Between not vetting planted questions and knocking over flags, Hillary's advance people are having a rough week.

What if this was one of the GOP frontrunners? What kind of media coverage would it be receiving right now? Just curious to see what you guys think.

If I had a dollar for every time a campaign has planted a reporter, heckler, supporter, etc. I'd be a millionaire. This is really a non-issue. Homeland Security had an entire press conference staged with fake reporters. I mean honestly who cares?
