I'm only going to reference games that our starters played the whole game. And I'm going by the "eye test".

Pitt- Defense played well. Consistent QB pressures and knocked their starter out.
Florida- Made a play or two when we had to, but defense did not play well overall.
LSU- Defense played well. Only giving up 10 points, you can throw the rest of the stats out. They don't matter.
AL- Defense did enough, but wasn't a good performance statistically.
KY- Defense dominated.

When looking at it l, it seems like there is a direct correlation between a QB'S ability to run and our defense's ability to perform well.....We knocked Pitt's starter out and he wasn't an elite runner anyways......Anthony Richardson was a run threat and he had a good day.....Daniels was banged up and couldn't really run for our game and our D played well.....Bryce Young was a run threat and carved us up... Levis couldn't run and our D was dominant...

Stetson Bennett is not going to beat us with his legs....I expect our defense to follow course and play a good game. And if they do, we are going to be celebrating come Saturday evening. Let's go Vols!
