Hinshaw update???

I thought it was official but am not 100% on that. All I have heard reported anywhere is "Coach Jay Graham the only one retained" and even reports about Kentucky (meaning he almost assuredly interviewed). Not that it couldn't be reversed and him rehired, but st this moment I think he is gone.

There has been some rumbles he may be waiting on this situation to be resolved. Not sure it's true or not. The big question is has he been hired officially??

If Tee falls through, I hope Butch Jones brings Hinshaw back for any other reason than to being some familiarity on the recruiting trail. I'm hoping for Tee, but would not be disappointed if we were to retain Hinshaw.

utsports.com hasn't been updated. Still shows the old staff except for CBJ.

Ok. Now this is very relevant as I feared.


Any chance he was waiting on us as a backup plan???

I'd guess T.J. Weist is the back up plan. Was with him at Cincinnati.

Hubbs adding some smoke here with Hinshaw. He says he would be very willing to stay which says to me the Kentucky thing is far from official.


Make this happen coach jones!!

Has anyone heard whether or not we have asked Hinshaw to stay? I really think CBJ could use his help.

Just saw on coachingsearch.com that he was hired as qb coach and passing game coordinator at cincy. What happened to kentucky.

Good for Hinshaw, kinda glad he isn't in the SEC against us...hopefully he doesn't flip anyone to go to Cincy. Glad alot of the coaches are landing new jobs, cuts into what we have to pay out.

right now the only ones that haven't landed a job are the SP teams/TE coach, the DL coach, and the secondary coaches

I'd be curious to see what our actual payout on this last staff will end up being by the time the season starts then.
