hire smart if strong won't take it!

it would only make sense to me. yes i know what dave hart said in that video but good lawd how could you not go to kirby smart after what he has did with that defense down there at bama. he's been working with saban for a while now and knows how to win. good lawd wth has that coach done to really impress dave hart anyways..never won a national champonship and he came from s.m. b4 he went to n.c.. go hire i winner not another dooley b,c that is what the coach from n.c. will probally be like..jmo he aint done crap yet in his career..smart would be the smartest hire and i know that there r tenn fans out there that feel the same that i do if we cant get strong...just saying ya'll..i hope that man gets a winner and not the n.c. coach!!:peace2:

I am pretty sure Saban has his hand print all over the defense and espcially the secondary, where UT really stinks. Also its another Bama guy and we all know how that went last year.

No....if Strong says no and we want a proven HC...I think Hart may have to contact Tressel or Butch Davis. They are 2 proven HC's that know how to win. They are not up and coming gambles. After that....I don't know.

And if Hart does not want to go the Fedora route or if he too has said no.

If Hart hires Smart they both better be fired before the ink can dry on the Smart contract.

See people THIS is why you use a search firm in a coaching hire!!! SO an idiot AD doesn't screw the whole thing up because he's more worried about stroking his own ego than getting the best coach possible

I do not want Smart. Tired of Sabanites! Many a fan will jump ship if he comes here. I'm in the same boat. I want a proven coach, one that will come here and make his way and not depend on Saban's name.

1. Malzhan

5. Sonny Dykes (only if he brings Tony Franklin)

No to Smart. Fedora is better. Hire Tressel. Get a good assistant to coach his first 5 games (3 cupcakes, Florida and Oregon) and our first bowl game. Beef up the compliance staff to dog his every move and write the reports every 6 months to the NCAA. Change his sweater vest to orange and white. The man has won 2 national championships. All he did wrong was not reporting free player tats to the AD. He didn't violate recruiting rules as far as I know. He will win ball games and championships. Put the onus on him and the AD to keep the program clean so we can get a great coach instead of a loser. We can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
