Hog Fans and Tiger Fans

I don't know about the rest of the Vol Nation, but after reading the posts the week before the South Carolina game. The LSU and Arkansas fans I've read posts from thus far are a welcomed sight around here. Class acts, well spoken, and sports knowledgeable.

ARK and LSU fans are two fanbases that i can honestly say that i've never had any problems with whatsoever...and i've been to two or three LSU games and 4 or 5 ARK games...generally found them to be good natured, knowledgeable and fun.

I have had a few problems with LSU fans that like to drink a little to much before and during the games. But the fans on here are class acts.

I went to the 2001 SECC game. :censored: :realmad:

After the game I ran into a lot of LSU fans and they were gracious and good sports. I've got to give them their props for that.

We must have been in complete opposite parts of the stadium. Where I was sitting the LSU fans we passed after the SECCG were horrendous. I think they were even making up names to call us. Also, there were some bad LSU fans eating at Jock and Jills in the CNN Center.

If you make it to Fayetteville for a game, you will find more fuel for your discussion. The Hog fans are very welcoming to opposing fans.

I guess I got lucky. My trip to Gainesville in '99, not so much...

Thanks for the props. I think we have all just experienced too many Alabama and South Carolina fans on our boards that have nothing to say except "You guys suck!"

Seriously, go to the tailgate area and just start good natured heckling with the Hog fans. I guarantee you will be offered more BBQ than you can eat.

After the train wreck that was South Carolina's fans, the past 2 weeks have been enjoyable reading.
