Wow, that dropped TD pass and missed FG are HUGE!!!!

Aub definitely didn't convince the voters.

Tech should have won that game hands down, but they did the same thing that they did against USC. They beat themselves. I wouldn't have thought that Randell would pass more than Jason walks on water Campbell.

Tech should have won that game? Scare?

The game was dominated by Auburn, they made a late run but that was hardly a scare.

Auburn dominated? That's a matter of opinion. Dominating would have been making two touchdowns in the first quarter instead of settling for field goals. Auburn is a good team, but they do not deserve a #1 ranking.

Ok maybe not dominated but they kicked the crap out of them until the last few minutes. Dominating would be 28-0 at half. ;)

I thought Auburn looked good and still say that they would beat USC or Oklahoma.

You say Po-tay-to, I say Po-tah-to. . . .

Guess we'll never know, eh? IMO, if you run the table in a respectable conference (much less the BEST conference), you deserve at least a share of the "title." Believe you me, there will be Auburn merchandise with "2004 National Champs" on it.

And, you know what? If I were a Tiger (dear GOD!), I'd buy it.

They will not even get considered. That was Auburn's second-lowest scoring performance of the year, and Tech looked a lot better against them than most thought they would. Auburn will not be considered for the national title.

Still . . . it was the most lopsided 16-13 game that I've ever seen. After that drop in the end zone, I never had the feeling that VaTech was going to win.
