In my opinion, there is no way that Holly would be fired before the Title IX lawsuit is settled.
Recently, both have spoken extremely highly of each other.
Plus, how would it look to fire the University's most prominent female shortly after she got her 100th win faster than anyone else.

Holly has been extremely loyal to Hart.
He's not going to lose one of his staunchest allies right now.
She could lose the rest of her games this year and miss the NCAA tourney, and he still won't fire her.

Now, in a year, if the case is settled, that could change.
Hart won't need her then and he will discard her just like he did Bud Ford.
Not saying that she might not deserve it.
What is happening on the court now is downright embarrassing.
But, what Holly gives to Hart and UT off the court with her unquestioned loyalty, especially as a female that coaches females, is very important to UT in defending the lawsuit.
Just imagine if she was fired now and she publically turned on Hart and UT in the national media.

If you can't fire a coach for the poorest coaching performance in the school's history, then the AD needs to go too. Title IX or not, there's not a jury in the country that would side against the UT administration for making a change now. If there is, then Title IX is not worth the paper it's written on and we should just drop collegiate athletics altogether. As a matter of fact, it would be more of a crime to let this debacle go on any further. Maybe the current players should file a Title IX lawsuit for being so mistreated. They're going to have the carry the tag of the biggest losers in UT history for the rest of their lives. Of course, there's always next year. JMO

Disagree.....

Can't let National perception and opinion hold you hostage.

Have to always do what is right and in the best interest for the organization you represent. Always!

You should ALWAYS operate out of faith and not fear!

Now....does doing the right thing mean replacing Holly or sticking with her? IDK.

That is something Hart needs to mull over and I'm sure he is already in the mulling process

Hart is not going to make a decision that could end up burning down the football program which btw is the cash cow and supports multiple female sports.

The only way Holly isn't here through 2018 is an exodus of players and the inability to sign anyone.

We're halfway there with no recruits and the exodus will happen shortly.

your argument for keeping a coach not doing her job sounds roughly like black mail. This civil lawsuit is being fed by a bunch of women who have a clear agenda. Warlick may well have that fat bottom of hers squarely planted on both sides of the fence. If we can't fire her for incompetence then our University is in trouble but not because of a frivolous lawsuit that won't see the light of day it would be because they are afraid of black mail from the same crowd that brought the suit, then throw in the LGBT crowd and it is purely blackmail.

She's been loyal? Hart hired her and is drastically overpaying her at $600k per year. Who else is going to give her that sweet of a deal? Of course she's "loyal".
