He's soso I think. Like him a little better than when he was here before, but ya just know he was the red-headed bratty kid in 4th grade that instigated everything on the playground at recess then acted like it wasn't him & never got in trouble! :)

I did not like Tony B. and regularly would turn off the stream when he was on... Now I rather like the Dave Hooker segment. The only thing I have not liked is how Andrew comes across...

Andrew has issues for sure. He's the one that said early this year before the season started that "Palardy sucks at life". I still can't believe he actually said that on the air about a kid who has had issues kicking a football consistently his first 3 years here. Andrew knows nothing of Palardy's life outside of football and the comment was totally out of line.

Andrew also hosted the on air show after a game earlier this year and I swear he was slurring his words and speaking in a way he never does during the week.

You can definitely tell he's young and has a lot of growing up to do.

Don't care for his show.

I have strayed away from the Eric Ainge show as of late. Sounds like I need to give Treece/Swain a try

seth stokes is just horrible. the way he jumps on swains coattales is really annoying and he over dramatizes everything.

Hooker's show isn't much different that what he had on sports animal. i listen to Tony, the guy is kinda a clown, but you know he's passionate about UT.

My only issue with Andrew was when he said "Bye Bye Band" regarding the whole cutting the band ordeal. And he then when on to say that he doesn't get to his seats in time to see the band for pregame, and claimed that maybe 20% actually do. Just came off as someone who doesn't really know much program's history or traditions. It always felt to me like 80% of the stadium was there by the time we unwound the spirals (~13 minutes before kickoff).

Dave Hooker provides a lot of interviews of reputable people, and his unabashed disgust of Derek Dooley is amusing. Some days I miss TB, some days I don't. I do feel like a lot of his talking points gets pulled from VN, though.

i can only take ainge's show coming into work. i can't listen to it for more than 20 minutes. it's pretty bad when he get off topic.

Seth Stokes repeatedly growling "Foorrr WWHHAATT?!" is just about the most annoying thing I've ever heard on sports radio.

Swain also sniffs constantly.

I Was listening today and it seems like his counterpart sometimes has to hold his tongue cause Dave says stuff just to get a rise out of people, granted part of it's his job...but often it's so brazen it can come across as knowitallish. Dave seems to have great contacts, and the information he provides is very good most of the time. Whew, sometimes though!

Now, I gotta preface this saying I've worked in media, and have friends and family in Knoxville media, and they say Dave is very hard working super nice guy..so I'm not here to slam the guy's work or him personally.

His show is my least favorite on TSR. By a longshot. I'll leave it at that.

Basilio got old to me. At first, his show was intriguing. But after that, blehhh. He would only let callers that shared his views talk. All he did was start rumors, which half of them were just fantasies. I couldn't stand "X" because he was wrong all the time. And for goodness sakes, let Cattleman get his two cents in before boycotting him

John Pennington. Jeff Pennington is a close friend of mine here in Ky and a huge Auburn fan. He'd probably be an upgrade over John. There is no one I have a tougher time listening to than John Pennington.

I really had a love for radio, it's a dying media outlet. These guys are onto something special, and I think Dave Hooker adds a lot to that. I just wish he'd deliver the news, and give occasional opinion. As opposed to getting cutesy, or making a Star Wars joke that no one but him gets, then laughing at it.

Basilio is still available @ his website, app, and a local am fm radio station in Knoxville. Also does a Tennessee Saturday night show via those avenues which I find entertaining and helpful for Vol fans after ball games.

personally I like TSR a lot better than the Sports Animal, Ainge does get old at times but he has good insight, Hooker always has great guests, I dont like Treece's show too much cause he's constantly talking about his playing days and "back then we did it this way" but recently Steve Phillips has been sitting in his show and i love that. I really like Football time though probably my favorite show on TSR. The gameday show is very good IMO

I called him out on the textbox after two different games for being drunk on the radio. Funny that they never mentioned it on the air.

95% of Knoxville sports radio is utter garbage, although it improved dramatically when Wes Rucker went off the airwaves.

Basilio has his moments when he's trollin.
