Stop whining so much. Nobody has any idea if it's a good hire or not and only time will tell. Everybody was saying the same thing about coach Dooley and now he's getting praised. Just give it time..sure it's not the 'big name' coach we wanted but atleast give the guy a chance.

Yeah I mean personally I wanted Frank, but clearly hammy and cheek thought Martin was a better fit. It's just the negavols that are already saying our basketball program is doomed and stuff like that..it's rediculous.

No matter who was hired it would take a couple of years to know if the hire was good or not. I like that he has head coaching experience at the college level. I think the people conducting the search should get the benefit of the doubt on who was interested, who interviewed well, etc.

I agree about the negativity, but I think most of it is aimed squarely at our administration and for good reason. That said, I hope they at least have a press conference.
Just like Dooley has had to have broad shoulders and thick skin, so will CCM.

As for Hammy, Cheeks, and anyone else of prominence at UT, it's no wonder fans, media, and the NCAA treat UT like they do when the "leadership" handles things the way they do.
