Heisman Watch 2022: Leading contenders, current odds and top moments

1. Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee
Total points: 54 (first-place votes: 6)

Week 8 notables: It might not have matched his five-touchdown performance against Alabama, but Hooker still looked like the Heisman favorite in a 65-24 win over UT-Martin. Hooker threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns against the Skyhawks to guide the Volunteers to a 7-0 start. A test against Kentucky awaits this weekend, while a game at Georgia Nov. 5 looms large.

Heisman odds: +200

These next 2 weeks if Hooker has good games and we win....he will put some distance between him and Stroud. Basically, Stroud only has the Michigan game to prove himself. The rest don't matter. Hooker won't get a lot of votes for the games against Vandy or Mizzou, but certainly has the stage for the Georgia game.

Hendon Hooker is leading the passing yards stats even though he sat out for half of 3 games. If he had stayed in those games to pad his stats he would be at ~2800 yards on the season.

Hendon Hooker is balling out and it disgusts me that Fowler and Herbstreit will spend the whole game on UK's nuts talking about Levis and how Stoops has elevated KY and how well they are playing, blah blah. Can't stand those d-bags. They should talk up HH and JH as Heisman level players but they won't.

I'm tempted to mute them and put on Kesling but damn he sucks too. Wish Aikman & Buck did college games...

Hell at this point I'd even take Musberger....just gotta be careful not to show any pretty girls in the stands or me might lose control of himself like he did with AJ McCarrons girl..old perv :p
