Does anyone think Hooker will get a shot to play a couple snaps in this weeks preseason game?

Hooker has probably already been shot a few times, according to his doctor. He needed some antibiotics and a stout painkiller.
He's recovered now.

Should be a big week for him. they are having joint practices with the Giants today and tomorrow. He will get plenty of snaps in the game Thursday. Time for him to step up and show he can be a NFL QB. Word is Sudfeld has been more consistent, but the Lions came out last week that Hendon had a dislocated finger in the spring and that has held him back a little this summer.

Lions released 1st depth chart of preseason yesterday. Hendon is listed as QB3. He has some work to do. He will probably play the whole second half Thursday night. Campbell says he just needs more reps.

Sudfeld has a lot more league experience (being drafted in 2016) but limited playing time. Hooker, obviously having lost all his off season and rookie season last year due to injury, could very much use this preseason to establish himself. He doesn't need to light the world on fire but if he can't acquit himself with at least some solidly competent play he's going to start feeling some heat.

I think so. Has had two camps to learn the system and should be in good physical condition.

John Pennington was mildly cautious about Milton's chances as a starter on last week's Sports Source edition.

It would be cool to see Hooker eventually replace Goff.
