Hooker's NIL deal - Bad Timing?

this may have already been discussed but I didn't see it. I preface by saying I am happy for HH. he landed 2 great NIL deals this past week. I do question the appropriateness of the timing. Why put that much extra stuiff in his head the week of the biggest game he has played to date.... Pay the man but maybe don't cloud his head with$$ before such a big game. Just some afterthoughts...

It put nothing extra in his head and had zero to do with the outcome.

You know what really clouds your head? A Georgia defender knocking the hell out of you time after time. Hooker took all the responsibility for the loss but there was plenty to go around and honestly most of that game was on his Oline.

I do think these guys will come out pissed off for greatness the next few games. His Oline has been fantastic all year and I expect them to regroup and produce like they should the rest of the year.

Valid points made here except for the snarky 0 substance deer lord post, but the fact is the young man found more financial gain in one week than he likely had his whole life. Great competitor or not a portion of his laser focus had to be diverted to it.
as for the “GA did that”, knocked the hell out of him etc… they sure did, over and over and standing there flat footed over again… move for goodness sakes

i hope they play pissed off the rest of the season with the same chip that Ga had on their shoulder.
