Van Coleman is one of about 3 recruiting "experts" that coaches actually respect. Wake Forest isn't in the top 10 because only one of their three big recruits lived up to his hype this year.

this is about where i expected UT to be on the rivals list. Rivals must be anti UT.:) I still cant wait to see these guys on the court this season.

Rival's ranking system is weird on basketball. I don't think it has a point system or anything to base the rankings on other than staff opinions. Hoopmasters is the best basketball recruiting site.

i respect Van coleman also..
but the site itself is just bad..
they hardly ever update the rankings.. and they always miss out on ALOT of players..

and about the Wake players not living up to there hype.. THis was there best season all together.. Aminu was the athletic superstar who dominated everyone who guarded him, including Greg Monroe when Monroe was ranked the #1 player in the class

Ty Walker almost averaged a triple doube, and he shot up the rankings BIG TIME from last year..

Tony Woods should have made the Mcdonalds All American game.. He's one of the most athletic centers in the nation.. Possibly the most athletic all around center.. He's tore it up in AAU tournaments.. his stock rose heavily also.. There have been sites that have even had him as a first round pick in next years draft..
