Yeah thats the kind of thing they want to keep inside until last minute. If getting rid of Petrino someone would leak that. And i dont think they do that this early in his tenure. The basketball stuff was so egregious the hammer has to drop. Im not sure NCAA ever does death penalty again after the SMU situation never recovered. I expect close those. Something like only 1 scholarship a year to basketball players. So like 4 scholarship players total on a roster which would still be walk on loaded.

SEC looking bad. Uk starting off terrible. Florida got shellacked by FSU. Arkansas losing (albeit at Texas) Missouri losing. LSu struggling against UNC Greensboro, USC losing at home to Stony Brook, TAMU losing at home to UC Irvine.... not good for the conference. Oh, and W Va lost at home to Buffalo. Not helping our SOS at all...
