Saban does not need an angle to get a pay raise. Saban could walk into the AD and demand a pay raise and Alabama would gladly oblige. If he is showing interest that means he is at least thinking on it. Little Nicky has enough leverage in the fact that he is the greatest coach of the modern era.

Exactly...I don't get all the BS about hoping Saban sticks around so we can beat him. it's a Tennessee/Alabama rivalry not Tennessee/Saban rivalry. I would love to see all the Alabama fans crying like kids who have parents who steal their Halloween candy when they go to sleep.

No thanks. We're light years away from Bama. He'll retire (next 3-4 yrs) before we're at a level to beat them. Hope he goes to Texas ASAP.

Aren't you contradicting yourself in this post? You said it's not TN vs Bama so and not TN vs. Saban. Why would Bama fans cry?

This story I read came out this morning. I didn't see it posted 100 other times as someone else mentioned or I wouldn't have posted it. First I've seen it this morning and I'm on here quite a bit. Though I don't scroll through every page. Guess I missed the hundreds from back in January!
