Not sure we can play consistantly like we did againsy uga. Also they had several injuries that kept us in the game. Spurrier is going to have usce fired up.

Uphill battle simply because of talent disparity. That said, I thought UGA would easily handle us and look what happened.

I don't buy the injury talk. They still had two freshmen running backs get 200 all purpose yards. It's not like Murray had thirty attempts. They showed they were gonna pound the ball against us before Marshall went down. They had starters get hurt but there backups played just as good. Only bad thing is that Murray literally had no time with them prior and they balled out. That punt block wasn't UGA keeping us in the game. We made that play. Vol fans just get pissy about is cause what our backups do when they play are not good results. UGA l, who had depth, showed us one thing we lack, but we are on the way to getting: Young backups who aren't forced to play day 1.

that's all i'm sayin. we could win but spurrier knows we have a chance. uga didn't take us seriously until we actually took the lead.

He's a smart coach. He will isolate Davis and or a TE on aj in the passing game and he should win. Combine that with our inability to contain mobile qb's and I could see some critical 3rd down conversions in their future. This is what I'll be watching for today.

that sounds about right. aj s my favorite player but he cannot pass defend which changes the entire defensive scheme.

The biggest concern for this game and any game against top competition is will we get great WR and QB play. I think we can run on them some because they blitz a lot and get up field. If our QB and Wr's can make a few plays for us we'll win today.

The Vols suprised everyone in playing UGA to the wire and this is college football and anything can happen. Occasionally a Corvair will even outrun a Corvett if something breaks down.
Go Vols

UGA didn't have all of those injuries when they took the field.

We are a well conditioned physical team.

We win.

Alot of people were saying Georgia had all the depth and better athletes and then we almost beat them and it was because there best players were hurt I dont get it.
