Hopson = SEC Freshman of The Week

Scotty Hopson definetely has what it takes to one day play in the League. I know it was just UTC and it was just one game but the things he was doing were pure athleticism and his 3 point shot looked good. The guy is a freak athletically and besides defense his only weakness may be 3 point shooting. If he can get his 3 point shot in order he will be in the NBA sometime soon, his defense wont really be a big problem because the NBA isnt exactly what you would call a defensive minded league. Its offesnse first defense second and Scotty definetely has the tools to be a force on offense.

Scotty Hopson is a BEAST! I saw this guy play many times in high school and just plain dominate his opponents, too bad he was the only good player on his team or they would have won state many years in a row.

Basically, Kentucky should be kicking their selves in the face and calling it quits because just like Lofton, Hopson looks better in orange.

Go Vols, I expect good things from this team this year!

He was one of 3 college players on his team, one of whom is at St. John's.

I stand corrected.

What it all boils down to is this. When Hopson played in high school all eyes were on him and I think that can be expected in the next few years.

How long does Woolridge stay a starter?
well woolridges playing time really has nothing to do with scotty hopson because hopson will only be playing the 2 this year and woolridge wont be playing any 2. with that said i dont see renaldo starting for much longer, i believe j.p will be taking his spot at the 3 VERY soon.

Are you going to Hoopfest this year?
And is University Heights going to make another Deep Run?

Probably not and no. The cupboard is bare at UHA; I'll be surprised if they go .500. I understand they have a couple of Sophomores that will be good HS players, but I think they are going to take some beatings until they mature.
