I'm very worried that they'd get Gregg Marshall to come back home.

The beginning of the end, IMO, was failing to make the NCAAs while Downey was there. Horn's biggest chance was in 2009 when they hosted UT in the final week of the season with the East title on the line and lost.

Serves the self righteous prick right.

This just may be me not knowing basketball but what is the problem with Horn? I listen to the zone in Nashville and he's on here a lot (or used to be when George was still on the afternoon show) and he always seemed like a nice guy in over his head...is he a jerk?

He's a SunBelt Conference coach who had some great recruits and a system already there when he took over at Western Kentucky..He simply can't recruit or compete with SEC coaches and players..IMO he's just not an SEC caliber coach..

lol! About time. Still waiting for the Mississippi schools to pull the trigger and get rid of their coaches. Auburn and Georgia are on par in a couple of years.

Several personal experiences with the man during his time at WKU which I've chronicled several times around here over the years. Guy is just a tool.
