Absolutely better. As is Jackson and quite a few other players around the country. I've never gotten it with Jones and she was awful when she tried to "take over the game" tonight.

Myah Taylor was far better than Jones tonight.
Agreed. GBO.

I think Haley Jones is a phenomenal player and well deserving of all her accolades. Great player, great person.

Even so, Jordan Horston is just as deserving of the level of praise Jones has received this season, and I'm beyond thrilled we have our Jordy on our side instead of having to try to figure out how to contain her.

I have much love for Horston!

Jordan is better than Jones from Stanford..

Agreed and still not sure why Jones is up for the Cheryl Miller award. She doesn’t play like a forward IMO. She plays like a guard and not always a very tough one at that.

I do believe Rickea will be the front runner for the Cheryl Miller award if we win this next game and play well in the Sweet 16. She has been the best small forward in the country the second half of the season. Improved her game in a huge way, especially her efficiency.

H. Jones seems a little slow to me. Having Jones and Joens go out early could help Rickea toward the Cheryl Miller. But she needs to have a really strong game tonight. I thought RJ's nerves showed Friday and it was not one of her better games.

Can still vote in the Cheryl Miller, whoever gets most fan votes gets one extra committee vote

Speaking of Jordy, imagine, if you will, Jordy in Kea's hair. That's right, I said that. This is freaking hilarious, also a team together and having fun:

The only problem I have with Jordan is when she gets in her mood that she is the only player on the team and forgets that she has other players on the team who can score. Often this leads to turnovers and/or wild shoots which have no chance to be made. She has cut down on her turnovers, and driving to the basket. She is much better at the 2 than the point. Her defense is improved and she is very reliable from the three and the midrange jumper. If she decides to come back and we can find a defensive and offense point guard, we can be a force next year.

when Jordy goes into that mindset, the right words will bring her out of it...Kea found the right words, telling Jordan in a recent game..."I need you out there...." Jordan immediately responded by playing the top of her game from that point on

Ive been preaching this since season's beginning . Jordan can do everything Haley can and is better on the defensive ends as well the boards. If Haley is a lottery pick then jordan is the #2.

Please stop posting just the name of the player as the title. This gives most of us long time members a panic attack as it usually means bad news. With Jordy's shoulder in question on Saturday, you're freakin' killing us...

I thought I might be the only one to dread seeing a thread title with just a name!

No thanks to her coach putting her back in a 30 point game...
She went in lockroom. thats what the trainer/doctor for see ok. Might be last time on rocky top no coach would hold player out if trainer gives ok and player wants to return to the game. shoe and sock migth pull off in locker room train got see for herself how foot look and if hurt horston when she move it. Horston a big girl she not going to risk missing next game if her like she stay off it. kellie pulled horston before jackson but she allow horston few mins if last time on rocky top to leave with good feelings.

If she enters draft she will be drafted ahead of Jones also, no contest.
Saw an updated draft projection this morning that confirms this. Had JH moving into the spot RJ formerly occupied, 3rd to Dallas. Had Jones several spots below and mentioned she could fall further bc she didn't develop a reliable 3 this year. Also Jones seems slow and not in great shape to me.

I don't think its about draft position or money for JH. Certainly it's not about where her heart is. It's about what would be best for her head. Sure hope it's here!

LOL you have to find humor in JH having trouble making a decision, bc kinda . . .

Seriously, I do sympathize with her, it would probably be excruiciating for her to leave this team. But if that's what's best, Godspeed to her.
