Vern Buchanan, heads the GOP fundraising effort nationwide for House members. Ethics panel says he took illegal contributions (made people that worked for him send donations then reimbursed them in cash) and then held up a settlement with a business partner as leverage to get him to sign a false affidavit saying that wasn't true.
