they're just serving up the same procedural nonsense the Dems engaged in when they were the minority party.

true, but someone should have thought it over from a PR standpoint.

actually, they voted for it before they voted against it.

On Wednesday afternoon, the House had just voted, 412 to 0, to pass H. Res. 1113, "Celebrating the role of mothers in the United States and supporting the goals and ideals of Mother's Day," when Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Kan.), rose in protest.

I know, I just wonder what everyone was thinking when they decided to vote against it. Perhaps they should have tried to tie up a different resolution. I understand they are playing the game as it has been played for a while, but you have to admit, it really makes some people look like complete jackasses.

the current GOP leadership is a primary reason why they're in the minority, so it's no small wonder they're moving through life with acute cranial rectal inversion.

Who in their right (or left) mind could be satisfied with party leadership on either side?

Seriously, do any Dems on the board think Pelosi or Reed are quality leaders?

How about Reps and...hell, I can't even remember who the Rep Congressional leadership is...

Thank God they are spending our tax money debating important issues.
