he said that if he had to do it all over again he wouldn't have picked tennessee. i didnt hold it against him though. he just meant he would have rather gone to a place where he was the featured back instead of having to share time (ie. shared times with riggs in 04)

Hmmm. Interesting. This is the first I have heard of it. When did he say it? Are there still links around?

He wouldn't have had to share if he had been
1. dependable
2. good enough

Wow, had never heard any comments like that.
But if its true? I'd have to concur with VOL67. While he did a good job, we all still kept expecting him to explode. IMO after reading about a specific health issue wanted to believe that was most of the reason his stats wasnt over par.
I guess we can thank, Riggs for sticking it out, 2 years ago he was watching the road games in restaurants with his mother and friends, With debate and transfer in mind. Did Ced go ahead and assume he wouldnt be pressured by anyone?

Trooper really made a huge impact IMO on Riggs and for that matter now with Foster, Hardesty, Williams(injury) and Coker. If your on the field and you dont carry, best break your a?? to pick up your assignment. Myself never felt like Houston was selfish or carried an attitude. :dunno:

I'm still waiting for a link to his comments. I'd love to see what context they were said in before sending him off to K Dub land with the other misunderstood people.

I agree with Vol67. If Cedric had placed the same distance between himself and Gerald that Gerald has between he and the other backs on
the team this season, then Cedric would have had over 220 carries and been the feature back in 04.

As it was Riggs either had the talent, work ethic, desire, or all of the aforementioned to pull even, and then ahead of Cedric.

He's still a good back though. I'm glad he was a Vol.
