I think they'll trip up later in the season but should be fun to watch right now.

But after the game the fans rushed the field.
They beat an unranked team and they're number 17...
I guess they don't get wins often against unranked teams at home...

As a Houston alum and fan, all I can say is that it's nice to get to watch them on TV when they aren't the whipping boy of some BCS program. Nice win tonight.

It was a great game to watch, great finish.
I was hoping for Houston to win the whole time, because it's always fun for the smaller school to beat the BCS teams. (Unless it's Tennessee)

It's a good win for the program, and now that I think of it, Vandy would be rushing the field if they beat a 2-10 Tennessee team. So Houston can get away with rushing the field on a game they're supposed to win.

Not getting much love in the rankings. While I agree that there are certainly more talented teams ahead of them, you should get ranked on the games you win. Thus, why are TCU/ Cinnci/ Ok St./Georgia ahead of Houston. I don't expect them to make it through the season without a couple of dings, though it would be nice. Miss St. should be a good game.

Good to hear! I think we have finally found a QB. After that egg we laid last week against CU (I was down in boulder for the game and came away very unhappy) So this week CDC started a true freshman. 234 yrds, 3 Td's, no int's. Not bad! Maybe he can be our Chase Daniel.. We just don't have great WR's for him to throw to.

Was a beautiful day at War Memorial stadium and it was nice to see us win a conference game but I'm still not sure we get more than 4 wins this year. The altitude here gives us such an advantage when we play evenly matched teams. When Utah, BYU, and TCU come to town, it won't make much of a difference.. :no:
