Really? Ask him. Offer him. The guy has a lot of excellent qualities--Miles raved about him. Would be far better than just about anybody we could hire now. A UT guy.

Considering that he not only has coached some of the best defenses in the nation at LSU in recent years, but also coached some of UT's greatest defenses ever, I'd say you are about as wrong as two rats ****ing in a wool sock.

No sir I am dead on the money...I can name at least 5 games he has lost at UT with his fabled mustang defense...Giving up scores of 62 points and 59 points to UF, Not adjusting and losing to UGA at the last second oh and may I remind of you that great LSU game that he choked away at the last second as well?.Oh yeah and how about that great no catch against UF in 2000?...Is he had adjusted they would've never gotten that chance..Even LSU fans were getting frustrated with him this season.

LSU fans were wanting to get rid of LM a few years back also. I dont do doubt you can name five games we gave up alot of points, but if he is making the hires, making the calls, recruiting who he wants. I think he has proven his self at LSU. We may not ever get another chance.

Hart is crazy if he doesnt give Chavis a big look. What, we're going to hire somebody from western Kentucky or some other bumf-- college, just because he's a head coach? We did that with Dooley.

I don't get this...how many winning programs has he been apart of???? I mean it's a dice roll in this position....but really...dude's solid as hell....but what do I know....apparently smarter people run out a hall of fame coach who produced some ungodly numbers is the way to go....
