Since Auburn will have 2 weeks to prepare for the SECCG... maybe Fulmer is waiting, no matter what the doctors say, until the last few days before the game to announce anything. If Auburn prepares for Clausen and either Shaeffer or Ainge or both end up playing... that could be an advantage for the Vols? Either way, I think the Vols will take a more conservative approach to this game than the first meeting. The Vols defense is much better.... eliminate the turnovers and mistakes on offense.... play for field position..... and keep it close until the 4th quarter and give the Vols the chance to win. The plus to that is if the Vols defense can create a turnover or make Auburn make some mistakes... the Vols can jump out .... kinda like they did against Georgia. Auburn (Tuberville) gets out-of-whack when they are behind in a game. However, they've only been in 1 close game (LSU) and they only scored 10 points.
