Chicken brethren?

It's likely to be in the 49-13 range barring something really bizzare.

I think Carolina hangs with the Tigers for maybe a quarter...maybe.

I think Clemson if they need any help to get into the Playoffs could rub it in and hang 70-75 on South Carolina

Georgia, Florida, and maybe the Vols, the way they're playing right now, would give this years Clemson squad a game.

As if Clemson needed any additional motivation, some SC fan posted this on FGF.

It's not being able to beat any one team up that is the question.

It's the weekly grind of the SEC schedule that can trip a team up. Look at GA - SC

Clemson has only been challenged once this season vs NC and they were lucky to get outta there with a win. Nobody in the ACC can on paper even come close to Clemson.

I am curious as to how Clemson is going to react this season when they run into an LSU or Ohio State- or any team that has the horses to go toe to toe with them.

Probably the same way they did against Alabama last year...by beating them down.
Among other things, Clemson has never lost to OSU. They beat them 31-0 the last time out.

I'm not so sure Clemsons team this year is on the same level as last years.

They lost a ton of senior leadership on D. Yes, I know with their recruiting talent level they can simply plug in another 5 star but I'm not fully sold-yet.

My mind might quickly change if they draw an LSU or Buckeye team in the semis and trounce them though.

Clemson would smoke everyone in the SEC East
Not sure I agree with that. The ACC is a joke.

That is what makes figuring Clemson out so difficult. They are so far in front of everyone else in the ACC that it is tough to figure out whether their occasional lackluster play is due to lack of challenge or real inadequacies. Fact is, we will not know until the playoffs.

They don’t play anyone but they’ve managed to handle the top dog 2-3 times now..

Clemson is stacked.
They’d boat race everyone outside of maybe Georgia.
They wouldn't boat race either Florida or Georgia because both of those teams play great defense. They'd beat every other SEC East team handily. Also depends on what day you happened to catch Clemson on. They beat their best opponent this year, Texas A&M, by 14 and almost lost to North Carolina. If they played like that against either Georgia or Florida, they'd lose.

Really curious to see how Clemson plays in the CFP because they are essentially just going to be thrown into a really high-profile game having not played in one for a calendar year. Their conference championship game isn't even going to be a real test.

When Clemson plays 8 games in the Sec plus the grind that every SEC faces week to week without a bye....then lets talk turkey...Cemsons fit in the SEC would be a 2 to 3 loss team...not a 12-0 team. Schedule is weak...Although a favorite in a single game they would not be if they played an 8 game SEC schedule....

Somehow they seem to show up in the playoffs.
I hate Clemson but something tells me it’ll be business as usual.

And your right maybe not Florida but certainly Georgia.
