I have been a Cowboys fan since 71. I think they may have it all in place and ready for a run. Not sure if they win the Super Bowl this year, but they sure should get there. As for grossberger and Da Bears, I think I could play better. Hell they could sign Ryan Leaf and do better.
in the NFC, they are the only team that has looked capable enough to make such a run. however, they haven't really played anyone yet either. i know the bears are the defending NFC champs, but hey, did anyone really expect the bears to win last night? i know i didn't.
having said all that, the cowboys have gotten off to a great start, and offensively, are going to be tough to stop. as much as i dislike the cowboys, i am impressed with Romo. he moves in and out of the pocket very well, and has a good arm. and having weapons like witten, TO, Barber, and Jones around him will be very beneficial to him thru out the seasaon. and who would challenge them in the East? from what i've seen, i've seen a really inconsistent Eagles team that puffed up over Detroit? yes, that was a big win for the Eagles. and the Giants, were a 4th down play away from being utterly irrelevant in the NFC and the redskins just aren't consistent enough at anything to count on them being around at the end.
you look around at the rest of the NFC, and Seattle just doesn't look like the team from two years ago. The South is a mess with would be contender New Orleans floundering, Carolina and Tamp Bay trading off for most inconsistent and ATL, well, imploding on and off the feild. the North is abysmal, but green bay may be starting something there, only time will tell.
so, thus far, the cowboys are the "kings of the shortbus" confeference for now. which lately, in the NFC is all you have to be.
