Running away with it against DA BEARS. Romo looks great, TO and Witten are unstoppable, MB3 looks great, Defense looks good too for a change. Devin Hester has been shut down the whole game.

Lookout playoffs, Dallas is back.

I don't really "have" an NFL team, but as far as my money league fantasy team goes (T. Owens, J. Witten, and M. Barber III) lets just say I'm a Cowboys fan when they have the football.

I think New England would defeat anybody handily right now... Even Indy or Pittsburgh.
agreed. NE is very, very good. but NE will get off the "easy" part of their schedule pretty soon and get Dallas, Indy and Pittsburgh in the not too distant future. if they win all three of those, then there really isn't anyone stopping them.....

and i was impressed with Dallas. i hate them, and as big a deal as was being made of the Chicago game, did anyone really think that Chicago's offense was going to win a game for them?

Dallas exposed the Bears' secondary last night. Good road win for the 'boys.

I have been a Cowboys fan since 71. I think they may have it all in place and ready for a run. Not sure if they win the Super Bowl this year, but they sure should get there. As for grossberger and Da Bears, I think I could play better. Hell they could sign Ryan Leaf and do better.

in the NFC, they are the only team that has looked capable enough to make such a run. however, they haven't really played anyone yet either. i know the bears are the defending NFC champs, but hey, did anyone really expect the bears to win last night? i know i didn't.

having said all that, the cowboys have gotten off to a great start, and offensively, are going to be tough to stop. as much as i dislike the cowboys, i am impressed with Romo. he moves in and out of the pocket very well, and has a good arm. and having weapons like witten, TO, Barber, and Jones around him will be very beneficial to him thru out the seasaon. and who would challenge them in the East? from what i've seen, i've seen a really inconsistent Eagles team that puffed up over Detroit? yes, that was a big win for the Eagles. and the Giants, were a 4th down play away from being utterly irrelevant in the NFC and the redskins just aren't consistent enough at anything to count on them being around at the end.

you look around at the rest of the NFC, and Seattle just doesn't look like the team from two years ago. The South is a mess with would be contender New Orleans floundering, Carolina and Tamp Bay trading off for most inconsistent and ATL, well, imploding on and off the feild. the North is abysmal, but green bay may be starting something there, only time will tell.

so, thus far, the cowboys are the "kings of the shortbus" confeference for now. which lately, in the NFC is all you have to be.

I have been a Cowboy hater for quite a while, but I am impressed too. It was also nice to see the aptly named Grossman fall flat on his face. :eek:lol:

I'm not a cowboys fan, Romo just looks like he's having so much fun on the field, that guy seems to play with heart, he kinda looks like the last guy I use to date, who's a redskins fan.

All good points. I like that "king of the shortbus" line.

Eagles are too inconsistent, Giants won't do jack, and as long as Joe Gibbs keeps doing the playcalling, I don't think anybody has to worry about the Redskins.

As it looks right now, Green Bay is the only other team in the NFC who might be good.

and that's the key word. and thanks for the  on the shortbus line. until i see something consistent from anyone else in the NFC, they might as well be NFL Europe when compared to the AFC.
