When he played at Buffalo he had great stats because somebody threw him the ball. Vick dosen't throw to him so that makes Peerless a bad player. Atlanta dosen't need good receivers because the overrated Vick can't use them. It makes me sick that Peerless took the heat for not having a quarterback to get him the ball. Look at his stats. They have declined since he's been in Atlanta. Especially his stats for catches. What a bunch of morons. Anybody else want to comment?
On another note, I thought is was weird that Price and Warrick got cut on the same day. :banghead:

Easy, He hasn't produced, he's got #1 money as a #2 WR, Has one of the worst passing QB's in the league

That's what I am saying. How can he produce with that jacka-- of a quarter/running back in charge of getting him the ball. I just don't get it. I hope where ever he goes he blows up and helps defeat the WINGLESS Falcons.

There aint no doubt that Peerless Price has the talent to be a great reciever if they actually have someone to throw the ball to him.....him being with the Falcons was just a stage.....Vick got one of the strongest arms in the NFL but he likes to run instead of pass....why dont his idiot ass become a running back if he doesnt like throwing the ball...wherever Peerless goes if he got a person to throw him the ball ....he will be a amazing receiver with great stats... :dance2: go Peerless

67 is right, it's simple economics, although, I would argue a little with people who say it's all Vick's fault. Price never really caught on the way I thought he would when he was signed. I thought a legitimate deep threat would thrive with Vick's style of running around and occupying the safeties, but Price never really showed much ability to improvise.

Vick is definitely not the easiest guy to be a receiver for, but at the same time, I think Vick would open up some opportunities for the right receiver.

i hate to say this,b/c he won us the nc. but he is a dick.

it has been highly publicized to. he gets along with no one. he is a me guy like t.o. but plays no where near t.o.

sorry to say it guys but he needed this.

he needs to get his priorities straight. start working harder

he has plenty of talent. he just doesnt know what to do with it.

I also agree. Vick may not like to throw but Price is definitley underperforming for how well he is being paid. I'm sure he can flourish elsewhere though.

...IT'S SIMPLE. the falcons overpaid for him and now that they realize that mistake they are fixing it. They know Vick will never be able to pass accurately enough to justify paying a receiver that much money.

Sometimes QB's and WR's just don't click. Vick seems to be able to throw to Crumpler OK and if one or the other has to go no one who is remotely sane would cut Vick over Price.

Vick isn't nearly the QUARTERBACK everyone thinks he is... he's an amazing athlete, but that doesn't put the ball in the hands of Peerless. The Falcons thought that if they got a top-notch wideout that would fix the passing problems, not realizing that Vick just isn't the pocket passer that a REAL QB should be... Should they keep paying a top-notch reciever when they don't have a top-notch passing QB? Heck no.

Maybe the Titans can get him, and we'll see the Peerless we all know and love... or how about Indy??? Manning to Price again? and again and again...

What I think Atlanta should do is focus heavily on running and short passing. It's what Vick is capable of and does best.

Couldn't agree more... if they had a Jason Witten at TE, and a Ronnie Brown at HB (which Crumpler pretty much is) their offense can click down the field. Big time WRs don't fit the setup.

I understand that Price was at the Dallas game tonight. That could be an interesting situation if Price joins the Cowboys.

Like I said, Keyshawn Johnson, Jason Witten and Peerless Price all on the same receivers group. Drew Bledsoe can still make the throws if he gets protected, and Julius Jones running it, one of the best RB's in the league. And the return of the Parcells defense. I say Dallas goest at least two deep in the playoffs.

I think that Peerless being Atlanta's only deep threat was also part of the problem. NFL defenses can take one reciever off his game.

Wasn't Peerless the number 2 reciever in Buffalo?

Do you know him personally?
There are people that would say I'm a dick, would you take their word for it or get to know me yourself and make your own judgement? My friends would all tell you that I am a great person. People develop different relationships w/ different people. There are people that love him, but the negative stuff is publicised. Just like with TO, he is generally a nice person, he's just somewhat selfish in some people's narrow minds and he tries to have fun.
