How can you not root for Joe!

Thankful I have a box of tissues by my desk. I bet you see players willing to run through a brick wall for Milton. I believe there is something very special about this years team.

Joe has my full respect. I know he transferred from Michigan, but I definitely think he’s matured and learned the value of patience. I have a great feeling that it’s gonna pay off.

Love a couple of his quotes in that piece...

“The more I stay up and stay composed, the more everyone else around me is going to rally behind that and not worry about anything,” Milton said. “That’s how I take that to the football side of things. “Responsibility is a blessing if you’re willing to do something with it.”

...“I may be the leader on the team, but I’m still going to serve every day,” Milton said. “I’m the oldest of seven. So I’ve been doing this my whole life.”

This is why I believe the coaches are so careful with who they recruit and some they are refusing to over bid for….The culture that Joe is teaching Nico will pay dividends Jake arrives on campus and Joe bows out….

Sounds like he’s had a lot to carry from a very young age. Impressive young man. Hopefully he has people to support him too, and not just the other way around.

What a story. There is no way you can be a Vol and not root for and love Joe. He is a true Vol. He gives his all for Tennessee every day! This year has the makings of a legendary season!
GO VOLS! GO JOE!

That's a very moving story. It sounds like his family is lucky to have him. I sincerely hope he balls out and makes them all proud. It sure would be nice for him to have an incredible year and get drafted so he can make them some generational wealth.

I can NOW see why he COULD blossom not only getting to play for a man that is a capable coach but ALSO a quality human being. He was missing that up North. CJH is excellent at maximizing by playing within the rules, not trying to find ways to skirt them and get by with it requiring the governing bodies to meet and tighten up the language.

This matters. Josh Heupel is not Jim Harbaugh.
