How did everyone spend their tax rebate????

If we spent that money at Wal-Mart, all the money went to China .

If we spent it on gasoline it went to the Arabs.

If we purchased a computer it went to India .

If we purchased fruits and vegetables it went to
Honduras, Mexico and Guatemala .

If we purchased a good car it went to Japan .

If we purchased useless stuff it went to Taiwan and none of it would help the American economy.

The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it at yard sales, since those are the only businesses left owned by Americans!!!

I thought the joke went that you spent it on prostitutes, beer, and tattoos since that's all they sell in America.

This year I will have interest on two mortgages, a child, and a ton of charity my wife and I contributed to. I am hoping mine will be pretty healthy.

last time i checked i didn't get my rebate because they deemed i was too rich, but your explanation is much more interesting.

I thought the thread referred to the stimulus payments. I squandered mine but if President Obama gives me another one as he promised to do in his campaign, I've already got a plan in place: 30 grams of Petrossian Royal Ossetra; 1.5L of Krug Grand Cuvee; and a pound or two of jumbo stone crab claws.

If the OP is referring to the stimulus payment, then yeah, I squandered mine too and I have nothing to show for it. I mean $600 (iirc) can only do so much.
