UT got pushed against a team that has since fallen off.

UGA boat raced a starstruck Oregon that looks really good now.

UGA fans swear it is the win of the season.

UT fans seem to dismiss ours as early cobwebs. I say it was a wise defensive coach that presented the best blue print to beat us. Before we gelled.

My thoughts:
We have grown three lifetimes since then and UGA is still reflecting on prior feats.

Georgia gets up for the big games. They got up for Oregon, their SEC opener, for the most part their hated rivals UF and Aub, they will show up for Tenn.
I for sure believe this. I think too much had been made about our trouncing of them. I see a battle maybe stiffer than Bama.

Everyone scores on Oregon. Look it up
If you have not watched that game you should. They made Oregon look like an FCS school. That is not UGA hype I just think early in the season talent is so dominant, and they have a ton compared to Pac teams. UGA for sure feels so 2000 and late and we feel so 2008. To steal a throwback line.

Nothing else through this season matters as far as how Tennessee played certain teams. What matters is how they are playing now. They are better now, much better defensively imo.

This offense takes a while to get in sync. Getting it to the top speed takes a few games. You can imagine, not only can the QB change the play based on the defense the receivers can change the route based on the coverage. Its hitting on all cylinders now. The defense was a work in progress. They played half the Dlinemen in that Pitt game compared with the UK game. The defense will be fresh in the 4th tomorrow. I have seen progress each week with UT where UGA has costed several games.

Yes I watched, I also know that was a first year coaches first game. I also know how Bo Nix was in the SEC, Georgia knew what he was capable of, they have seen him multiple times

Honestly, I would like to see Oregon and UGA tie it up again now.

People forget that was Oregon's first game with a completely new coaching staff.

He has since learned how to trust his team and his coordinators. UGA might win, but it would only be by a score at the most.

What if a perfect Oregon minus the UGA loss stole UGA's spot in the CFP because we beat them. Lol how bitter would UGA fans be.

I still think the pac is devoid of SEC Speed and size, but it would be much closer for sure.

Pitt like all of us had 6 weeks to prep for there opener. I think Pitt had a good plan defensively but just ran out of gas.
Oregon - I don’t know what that was about. Not like there coach didn’t know what they were going up against. They looked flat out in prepared.

It was a new HC and scheme.

Just like Florida did---playing above their heads and going for it on 4 th down every time/ on-side kicks etc

But what about the anomaly with Missouri ?

Georgia dominated the game but offense played poorly until 4th quarter. Had almost 200 more yards in offense. But they had a couple early fumbles. Got into the red zone okay but poor passes made them settle for FGs instead of touchdowns.
