with all the injuries we have? i mean i am glad guys keep stepping up and we keep winning but i gotta think at some point the injury bug is gonna catch up to us. probably in one of the next two games. lsu's and ark's d will be ready to pressure a hobbled ainge or the freshman crompton. i just dont see how we make it through the season with just one loss. with all the key guys we have lost to this point and last years record i'd be very happy with 10-2, but even that looks tough. lsu and ark back to back could be punishing, but i am seeing the glass as half empty right now.

I'll wait for another loss (which, hopefully, won't happen) before my optimism departs. I thinkg we can win out - but it will no doubt be tough.

We would have to check your sanity if you didn't at least entertain these thoughts, all we can do is cheer, and hope we get it done.

you can bet that every other team out there is experiencing problems with injuries like we are as well. this deep into a season there is no way you can avoid being beat up like we are so now it's about who is tougher, mentally and physically and i like our chances

We seem to have a lot of ankle injuries this year. The ones I know of after the SC game are Ainge, Foster, Swain, Smith and I think I'm leaving something out.

Someone needs to invent some kind of ankle guard.

In spite of the injuries, this team keeps stepping up to meet all challenges. I give credit to good coaching (CPF and the entire staff) and to great team chemistry. One thing that is different this year is naming captains for each game. I think maybe that has helped motivation and team leadership.

i find optimism in our 7-1 record, thats pretty dang good for a team who went 5-6 last year and lost a bunch of guys.

As long as our defense plays well we are going to be in the game. We get LSU at home and remember Arkansas plays a true freshman at QB. Stop the run and make him beat us (he won't). Plus don't forget how good Hefney is on PR's. He will break one for a TD soon. How many teams have a kicker/punter combo as good as Willhoit and Colquitt?

I think, assuming Ainge is 100%, we win out and I am sick that we lost to Florida.

7-1 is great. i am happy about that. two games vs. very talented ranked opponents with 3 key offensive players(ainge, coker, swain) hurt is what i am worried about. i love the character and composure of the team, but every week seems bring another injury to a starter. i guess i'll just pretend to be optimistic about the trend and call it depth building.
