How do you see this Vandy game coming out?

Personally, I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of a team - ANY team - facing a powerful SEC team coming off an embarrassing loss..

Go Vols!!

:lolabove: Ha...I laughed. I hope we play hard all game, dont call off the dogs and are in a position to pull starters, but we dont. Cause I dont want them scoring on our younger guys. Or our starters for that matter.

The Commodores played Florida tougher than the Vols did ? gaining 391 total yards (93 rushing), compared to Tennessee's 220 total yards (minus-11 rushing) Just a reminder.

Nice one....

i see this game being closer than most of us would like...Vandy this year has played everyone tough...for a while. they have had chances to beat Ole Miss, Ark, Alabama this season...but got some unfortunate bounces, whether it be a missed game winning fg, or the other team makes a game winning fg.

they did beat UGA at UGA...

they usually play us tough anyway...and they have a good coach.

we'll win, but i will be a little surprised if it's a runaway blowout.

I agree with you, Jake. Vandy ordinarily plays UT tough and the Dores pretty much always seem to be up for this game. Vandy was within a score of UF, Bama and Arky and they could easily be sitting on 6-7 wins right now instead of 4. They have some playmakers at WR and their QB is very mobile. Like a lot of people I assume that UT will be highly motivated to win this game in light of what happened last year. Of course, I thought the Vols would be highly motivated to win last week. Both of these teams are Jeckyll-Hydeish.

In my profession we have to think of the worse case senario..........Ainge rusty.....Coker fumbling.......and defense not being able to stop the Vandy QB and Bennett on third and long (sound familiar). I am not confident that the Vols win today!!!

this is a series where Vandy plays us tuff for several games and will win a game then will be terrible.....this will be a tuff game but I believe Vols prevail. Vols win it in 4Q 24-21
