He hasn't done anything in college though. Plenty of kids look good out of high school.

Can't tell me King James wouldn't have been deserving of preseason all-america honors if he'd have gone to college.

Honestly surprised this is the first time it's happened since '86-'87, especially with the recent rash of Derrick Roses, Kevin Durants, Greg Odens, and so on.

This is really the reason it surprises me. There have been plenty of surefire lottery picks straight out of HS that came to college and haven't been Pre-season All American. I guess you have to start the revolution somewhere though.

They are both forwards. Barnes and Singler both made the list and they essentially play the same position. Listed as a power forward but play a hybrid of the 3/4. Sullinger is just a true 4
