How does Missouri's loss last week effect the game this week?

It may take a little out of em but I wouldn't expect it. If anything I hope we aren't looking ahead any. I think we will be ready though. GBO!
I don't see how the Vols would be looking ahead with everything that's on the line with a victory and potential(but not likely)Georgia loss.I'm just glad Tennessee's game is before the Georgia/Ole Miss game.

i like that we’re before that game too. Maybe we can win big and put some pressure on GA knowing they have to win out to make it to Atlanta. I know Kirby will have them ready for Ole Miss but still maybe we can get in their heads a little and they don’t play mistake free football this week and next.

Any team coming off a loss is harder to beat IMHO. And they have the added incentive of the beating we gave them last year. They gave Georgia a closer game than the final score showed. I don't feel good about this game.

Missouri lost a hard fought game last week and lost. They only had one bad stretch. Are they eager to bounce back, or still looking back at that loss?
This sounds a lot like UT between the CPF and CJH days. We lost plenty of games on one bad stretch, or even one bad play, during that time…..only to turn around and give it everything we had the next week…. only to come up a bit short. It’s the nature of the SEC. Effort only goes so far. We’ve got talent everywhere. If we execute, we win.

I don’t think it will have any effect. I know the rumors are that Burden may be dinged up but I don’t think he will be that limited. I hope they will be emotionally deflated and not ready to play. But I doubt that happens.
One of the writers who covers Mizz said he is playing.

I’ve never been to Mizz will be up for the game similar to USCjr last year.

It’s a 2:30 game but they’ve had this game circled on the calendar.

Everyone knows that the Tigers were the toughest team ga played all year. It was a close game for Kirby, he knows he got lucky. Coach Heupel, and Milton make this a statement game. Sec east championship goes thru Neyland

They're going to get smoked. They barely beat Memphis and MTSU. Our running game is legit and will absolutely open everything else up.
Not questioning your logic but IIRC in the Memphis game Drink,IMO, made a horrendous decision late in the game to make the game closer than it should have been. Mizz had a two TD lead AND the ball inside Memphis 40 yard line with like 4-5 minutes on the clock. He went for it on 4th and 4 and didn’t make it giving Memphis the ball in great field position. UM goes down and scores quickly now making it a one score game. Mizz held on but IMO the game was NEVER that close.
