I don't see how the Vols would be looking ahead with everything that's on the line with a victory and potential(but not likely)Georgia loss.I'm just glad Tennessee's game is before the Georgia/Ole Miss game.It may take a little out of em but I wouldn't expect it. If anything I hope we aren't looking ahead any. I think we will be ready though. GBO!
i like that we’re before that game too. Maybe we can win big and put some pressure on GA knowing they have to win out to make it to Atlanta. I know Kirby will have them ready for Ole Miss but still maybe we can get in their heads a little and they don’t play mistake free football this week and next.I don't see how the Vols would be looking ahead with everything that's on the line with a victory and potential(but not likely)Georgia loss.I'm just glad Tennessee's game is before the Georgia/Ole Miss game.
This sounds a lot like UT between the CPF and CJH days. We lost plenty of games on one bad stretch, or even one bad play, during that time…..only to turn around and give it everything we had the next week…. only to come up a bit short. It’s the nature of the SEC. Effort only goes so far. We’ve got talent everywhere. If we execute, we win.Missouri lost a hard fought game last week and lost. They only had one bad stretch. Are they eager to bounce back, or still looking back at that loss?
Not questioning your logic but IIRC in the Memphis game Drink,IMO, made a horrendous decision late in the game to make the game closer than it should have been. Mizz had a two TD lead AND the ball inside Memphis 40 yard line with like 4-5 minutes on the clock. He went for it on 4th and 4 and didn’t make it giving Memphis the ball in great field position. UM goes down and scores quickly now making it a one score game. Mizz held on but IMO the game was NEVER that close. They're going to get smoked. They barely beat Memphis and MTSU. Our running game is legit and will absolutely open everything else up.
