In past years I’ve seen lists of folks best guess as how the class finishes. Is it to early for some of you crootin’ experts to make such list for us amatures? Thanks, Go Vols!

Hard to know when names keep surfacing. Names like Peterson and Griffin just suddenly having interest when they werent even mentioned with the previous staff makes me hopeful that we get surprised with a top ten finish.

Ask me a month ago and I'd wager top 25, maybe top 15 if we're lucky. Currently, 3 of the players we can likely sign (Copeland, Peterson, and Griffin) would put is .01 points away from taking the # 10 spot. If what I heard was true and we have room for quite a few more, then there's no reason we can't be firmly top 10.

We are looking at near #10 when it's all said and done. Give or take 2 spots.

Thanks for all the reply’s. What I really meant was do any of you crootin’ gurus have a “best guess” list of the players we end up getting. I try to read all the player threads but boy it’s hard to keep up. After awhile I can’t remember what I’ve read! Lol

Idk how likely Copeland is. The other two I think we land.

No idea. We'll probably have a few commits look elsewhere; some are even highly rated

I have no clue if you're even close to accurate but I gave you a like because I like the way you think! :)

I put a list of guys I think we sin and possibles below. I think it's very likely, but sometimes my glasses are too orange when predicting things

I think we close in the top 10. The '19 class should be real fun to watch, especially if we have a half way decent season.

The Kool-Aid is strong with this group I see.

I will predict 12 -16 which would be nothing short of a miracle. Actually it would be a miracle, involving both divine intervention and some extreme slight of hand.

But this staff definitely knows how to get a prospects attention.

What's notable is the average height of the class thus far...about 6'3" it looks like, without doing the math. This seems unusually tall to me. I am sure that stat -- average height of incoming freshman class -- exists somewhere but I ain't gonna go dig for it.

I hope it is unusually tall compared to previous classes. From what I've read, Pruitt likes tall DBs and recruits them; I hope he also likes tall receivers and recruits them as well. It seems clear he likes tall linemen.

Well, if 50% of the new guys end up starting for UT then we're in for one, maybe several, horrific seasons.

We would be thrilled.. that would be 12-13 starters .. the other will be back ups and others will leave or be busts

Don’t understand your science. The Julio Jones class for Bama established his legacy there...quickly!

When you consider that, across the board, approximately 35-40% of any recruiting class fail to complete their eligibility at the university with which they sign, whether it be due to injuries, transfer, academic washout, etc., a 50% success ratio, as measured by starters at their respective positions, is not a bad outcome at all.
