How does the far right deal with Romney's heritage and religion?

I don't think anybody cares about the Mexican part (I didn't even know about it, and I live in UT). I think they are willing to overlook the Mormon part.

Kind of undermines some of the subtext on Obama's father, don't you think?

I don't really get your point.

Gsvol posted on here about some lawsuit about Obama's birth certificate moving forward and argument from the plaintiff lunatics had changed from, he has to have been born in the US to, he had to have been born of people born in the US.

Apparently, these brainiacs claimed that this was what the founders meant when they referred to being born a US citizen.

Now, I pointed out that there was a slight glitch in that theory in that, by definition, George Washington and probably some others after him could not have been born of US citizens since the US did not exist when they were born (ergo cannot be born of US citizens).

Naturally, he has ignored that little problem.

My point being here, I would assume these same righteous folks are going to sue Romney since his father was not, at least originally, a US citizen.

Wasn't the first one to sue (and maybe the only one, I am not sure) a Dem and a Hillary supporter?

Evangelicals won't like it, but then they'll hold their nose and head to the polls because he's got an R past his name. As I've already heard some say: "Better a Mormon than a Muslim."

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President

not sure about what you are trying to get at there

nice try counselor but I suggest you go brief the Georgia decision. His dad was a citizen at time of mitt's birth. Obama's dad was not. That is the issue in the Georgia case.

Not a birther but the definition of natural born citizen needs to be clarified.
